April Thompson is a dedicated social worker who helps older adults and their families navigate the challenges of aging, long-term care planning, and major life transitions.
She worked as a medical social worker for a hospice agency for four years, where she gained valuable insight into the experiences families face when making complex medical decisions for loved ones in need of long-term care. Her advocacy, care coordination, and crisis intervention with community agencies were instrumental in securing much-needed elder care benefits and caregiver support.
As part of a collaborative elder law team, April provides compassionate guidance, practical support, and connections to community resources tailored to each client’s unique needs. Outside of work, April enjoys paddle boarding on the Snake River and spending time with friends and family.
